The Building Design Committee (BDC) is an advisory committee intended to aid applicants in the permitting process. BDC reviews all commercial permits (i.e., building permits, sign permits, etc.), commercial variance applications, and may assist any person, group, or agency who requests design advice on matters not requiring formal committee action. The board consists of two teams (of three members each) that meet once a month on an alternate basis. One member on each team shall be a member of the City Council and serve as the chair. One member on each team shall be a member of the Zoning and Planning Commission. Members shall serve for two-year terms.
